Out on a Limb – Conversations with Jesus

In this week’s sermon, John Meinen looks at a conversation between Jesus and a tax collector named Zaccheus in Luke 19:1-10. John explores the tension between going out on a limb to seek Jesus and the paradox when the seeker realizes he is the one being sought. John highlights whether we are we willing to go out on a limb for Jesus. Whether we are willing to look weak or like failures if it means we gain Jesus. And what would it look like for us to stop trying to clean up our messes and failures on our own ¬†and invite Jesus to be the agent of change in our lives.
